As a drum instructor, my goal is to offer students the most comprehensive and in depth instruction available. To begin, we will be analyzing your playing and identifying your strengths and weaknesses, and then building a structured lesson plan based on your unique needs and goals. I will teach you the rewards that come through a well-directed and disciplined practice routine, allowing you to achieve your goals and master complex techniques. In our lessons, I will clearly define patterns and exercises that will not only challenge you but will also produce results in your playing. We will focus on fundamentals such as rudiments, reading, independence, time, speed, control, power, endurance  and precision in execution, and I will also help you develop and express your own personal style. My goal as a teacher is to build on your current foundation and provide you with a deeper understanding of the drum set, so that you can evolve as a drummer, musician and artist.
